Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in a leadership role
  • minimum 2 years experience in family, fast-food, or casual dining
  • able to stand for entire shift and walk long periods without rest
  • capable of pushing, lifting, carrying, and transferring up to 50 pounds
  • able to reach, handle, finger objects and tools
  • able to bend and stoop
  • able to taste and smell
  • able to verbally communicate
  • able to use close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and adjust focus
  • able to access all restaurant areas including selling floor, stock, and register
  • available to work a variety of shifts and weekends
  • compliance with state alcohol serving age requirements where applicable

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior leadership experience required
  • minimum 2 years experience in family, fast-food, or casual dining restaurant preferred
  • college or culinary schooling preferred

Job Duties

  • Supervise staff according to company policies and laws
  • recruit, interview, and train employees
  • assign and direct work
  • appraise performance
  • reward and discipline employees
  • address complaints and resolve problems
  • coach and mentor team members to ensure job success and guest satisfaction
  • model professional behavior while creating a hospitable atmosphere
  • assist team members with duties as needed
  • assist with building store sales by executing marketing programs
  • champion sales building activities and suggestive selling
  • maximize table turnover, sales per guest, and sales per hour
  • meet and greet guests and resolve food quality/service issues
  • maintain efficient operations, cost controls, and profit management
  • ensure compliance with OSHA, health, and safety codes
  • enforce safe work behaviors
  • monitor food quality and cleanliness standards
  • control day-to-day operations including cash control, security procedures, reviewing financial reports, and scheduling
  • control food costs with recipe adherence, portion control, and inventory management
  • manage labor costs using company scheduling tools
  • perform all other assigned duties
