Job Requirements

  • Food safety certification required
  • alcoholic beverage certification required
  • experience in private club or hospitality management
  • ability to develop and manage budgets
  • strong organizational and interpersonal skills
  • willingness to work varied shifts including nights and weekends
  • physical ability to stand, walk, climb stairs, and lift up to 50 pounds

Job Qualifications

  • Several years of hospitality or private club management experience
  • banquet events experience preferred
  • food safety certification
  • alcoholic beverage certification
  • certified club manager (CCM) designation or current pursuit desirable
  • strong leadership and communication skills
  • proven budget management and sales analysis capabilities
  • experience with staff training and development
  • ability to handle guest relations and resolve complaints
  • knowledge of legal requirements for food and beverage operations
  • proficiency in inventory management and cost control
  • ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

  • Develop operating budgets for food and beverage revenue outlets
  • monitor sales and cost goals and take corrective actions
  • oversee recruitment, training, supervision, scheduling, and termination of food and beverage staff
  • ensure adherence to standard operating procedures and club policies
  • approve menu items, pricing, and designs for all outlets and special events
  • manage daily sales reports, charge procedures, and guest check analysis
  • conduct inventory of service items and coordinate with accounting department
  • consult with Executive Chef, Catering Director, and Purchasing Agent to maintain member satisfaction
  • oversee safety and sanitation policies including OSHA regulations
  • address member and guest complaints and take corrective action
  • monitor appearance, upkeep, and cleanliness of facilities and equipment
  • approve product invoices and manage department physical inventory
  • ensure accurate reservation system and long-range departmental planning
  • represent department as manager-on-duty and lead meetings
  • coordinate arrangements for public functions and social gatherings
  • oversee risk management programs and handle emergencies promptly
  • maintain employee records and monitor labor costs
