Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior leadership experience
  • minimum 2 years experience in family, fast-food, or casual dining restaurant preferred
  • ability to work flexible shifts including weekends
  • strong communication skills
  • physical ability to stand and walk entire shifts
  • ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • ability to manage multiple projects
  • knowledge of food safety and labor cost control
  • compliance with alcohol service age requirements where applicable

Job Duties

  • Supervise staff according to company policies and legal requirements
  • recruit, interview, and train employees
  • assign and direct work
  • appraise performance
  • reward and discipline employees
  • address complaints and resolve problems
  • coach and mentor team members
  • create a warm and hospitable atmosphere
  • assist with category job duties as needed
  • build store sales through marketing program execution
  • champion sales building activities and suggestive selling
  • maximize table turnover and sales per guest
  • meet and greet guests and resolve food quality or service issues
  • maintain efficient operations with cost controls
  • ensure compliance with OSHA, health, and safety codes
  • enforce safe work behaviors
  • monitor food quality and cleanliness standards
  • control cash, review financial reports, and manage schedules
  • control food and labor costs
  • perform other duties as assigned
