Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum three years of experience in restaurant management or related field
  • Ability to work a minimum of 50 hours per week including rotating shifts and weekends
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Physical capability to stand, walk, talk, and hear frequently during shifts
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 lbs
  • Knowledge of local, state, and federal food safety standards
  • Ability to manage and motivate a diverse staff
  • Proven problem-solving and organizational skills

Job Qualifications

  • Three to five years of restaurant general management experience
  • Exceptional understanding of profit and loss line items related to restaurant operations
  • Serve Safe certification preferred
  • Fluent in English
  • Exceptional basic math skills such as addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication
  • Capable of quickly assessing issues and providing immediate and long-term solutions
  • Proficient in email, POS, calculator, Excel, and Word
  • Ability to perform as a working manager occasionally

Job Duties

  • Maintain and refine Steps of Royal Service standards
  • Interview, hire, train, coach, and hold associates accountable
  • Maintain appropriate staffing levels
  • Ensure staff have necessary tools and supplies
  • Place and review weekly product orders
  • Manage food, beverage, and labor costs with budget
  • Participate in end-of-month inventories and reconciliations
  • Assure daily par levels of china, glass, and silver
  • Attend daily and weekly food and beverage meetings
  • Participate in planning and controlling costs for events
  • Ensure cleanliness of all food and beverage areas
  • Resolve guest complaints for satisfaction
  • Monitor cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of all F&B components
  • Maintain knowledge of menu items and bar recipes and train associates
  • Comply with local, state, and federal food safety standards
  • Document staff attendance and coordinate breaks
  • Assign work and side duties in accordance with procedures
  • Conduct pre-shift meetings and inspect staff grooming
  • Complete paperwork and closing duties as per standards
