Job Requirements
- 3 years of relevant experience in high-end, high-volume restaurant
- must be 21 years or older
- familiarity with food service regulations and handling procedures
- strong operational and customer service skills
- proficiency in Microsoft Suite, Open Table and POS systems
- creative thinker with revenue generation capability
- ability to remain calm under pressure
- excellent communication skills
- flexible schedule including mornings, evenings and weekends
- valid Food Handler Card
- valid Alcohol Awareness Training Certificate
- ability to stand for up to 8 hours
- ability to lift frequently up to 10 pounds and occasionally 25 pounds
Job Qualifications
- minimum 3 years of experience in a high-end, high-volume restaurant
- must be 21 years or older
- strong familiarity with food service regulations and proper handling procedures
- strong operational and customer service skills
- proficient in Microsoft Suite, Open Table and Restaurant POS systems
- creative thinker capable of generating new revenue sources
- ability to remain calm under pressure
- excellent written and verbal communication skills
- flexible schedule including daytime, evening and weekend shifts
- valid Food Handler Card and Alcohol Awareness Training Certificate at time of hire
- physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds
Job Duties
- assist the general manager with staffing, training and development for all hourly front-of-house employees
- ensure that company standards are met by communicating effectively with employees and reinforcing policies and procedures
- reinforce company rules including uniform, grooming and timeliness
- oversee all service areas including floor management, guest relations and sales culture
- assist with scheduling, purchasing, managing labor, food and beverage costs and P&L statements
- aid in investigating and resolving guest complaints
- oversee restaurant repairs and preventative maintenance
- ensure compliance with health, sanitation, liquor, safety and employment regulations
- embody and deliver exceptional service and hospitality
