Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in a leadership role
  • minimum 2 years experience in family, fast-food, or casual dining restaurant strongly preferred
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to coach and mentor staff
  • ability to manage multiple projects
  • knowledge of safety, health, and labor regulations
  • physical ability to stand long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and work flexible shifts including weekends
  • adherence to state alcohol serving age requirements for applicable locations

Job Qualifications

  • minimum 2 years experience in family, fast-food, or casual dining restaurant preferred

Job Duties

  • Supervise staff according to company policies and laws
  • recruit, interview, and train employees
  • assign and direct work
  • appraise performance
  • reward and discipline employees
  • address complaints and resolve problems
  • coach and mentor team members
  • model professional behavior and create a hospitable atmosphere
  • assist team members with duties as needed
  • help build store sales by executing marketing programs
  • champion sales-building activities and suggestive selling
  • maximize table turnover, sales per guest, and sales per hour
  • meet and greet guests and resolve food quality/service issues
  • maintain efficient operations, cost controls, and profit management
  • ensure OSHA, health, safety, and company policies are met
  • enforce safe work behaviors
  • monitor daily activities for quality food and cleanliness
  • control day-to-day operations including cash control and financial reports
  • manage food costs via recipes, portion control, and inventory
  • control labor costs through scheduling and sales performance
  • perform other duties as assigned
