Job Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year working in restaurant environment
  • restaurant management experience preferred
  • 2-year hospitality degree preferred
  • must be 21 years of age or older
  • successful completion of alcohol and food certification such as ServSafe within 60 days of employment
  • successful completion of Bricktown Brewery Manager in Training program
  • ability to walk and stand up to 10 hours
  • ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • willingness to work 50 plus hours per week including weekends and non-consecutive days off
  • weekend availability required

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year experience working in a restaurant environment
  • restaurant management experience preferred
  • 2-year hospitality degree preferred
  • knowledge of guest service principles and processes
  • effective communication skills
  • aptitude for driving sales and guest retention
  • understanding of menu, food, and beverage preparation
  • coaching and performance management abilities
  • financial budgeting and profit and loss analysis skills
  • decision-making ability in a fast-paced environment
  • knowledge of restaurant equipment and health codes
  • time management skills
  • proficiency in Ctuit, Aloha POS, Excel, Word, Ops Analytica, and Outlook
  • age 21 or older required

Job Duties

  • Execute daily restaurant operations including supervision of hourly team members
  • assist General Manager with sales initiatives and goal execution
  • support all front-of-house operations including system adherence, health inspections, order guides, sales services, quality control of beer, and food safety and sanitation
  • oversee food presentation to meet Bricktown Brewery specifications
  • monitor compliance with health and safety regulations in food preparation and serving
  • maintain building, equipment, and supply levels through appropriate maintenance and repairs
  • handle guest complaints professionally to ensure timely recovery
  • ensure safe working and guest environment reducing injury risks and completing necessary reports
  • communicate team member issues or complaints to management professionally
  • sign off front-of-house and back-of-house team members at shift end
  • follow company procedures including crisis situations such as workers' compensation and liability claims
  • complete manager in training projects as assigned
  • assist General Manager with programs and systems success like MIT program and hourly training
  • write hourly team member schedules based on budget
  • support General Manager with financial, HR, and payroll administrative duties
  • follow cash handling and security procedures strictly
  • communicate with General Manager for monitoring expenditures, invoice entry, sales projections, and cost management
  • perform other duties as assigned by management
