- Proven experience managing a restaurant team
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Must have and maintain ServSafe certification
- Flexibility to work various shifts totaling 40 hours per week
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment
- Physical ability to perform all duties including inspections and use of headset
- Knowledge of state and federal employment laws

Job Duties
- Manage labor costs by evaluating labor needs against projected sales
- Build sales by promoting customer satisfaction
- Monitor crew prep, production, and procedures execution to manage costs
- Track waste levels using established procedures
- Monitor food costs to eliminate waste
- Monitor product quality and manage crew performance
- Train crew to respond promptly to customer needs and maintain customer courtesy
- Take corrective action to improve service times
- Train crew to solicit feedback for customer satisfaction
- Establish and communicate daily speed of service goals
- Train crew to maintain restaurant cleanliness
- Follow restaurant cleaning plan
- Direct crew to correct cleaning deficiencies
- Train crew in new products and initial position skills
- Follow flowcharts to ensure crew meets prep and production goals
- Monitor inventory levels to ensure product availability
- Maintain security of cash, product, and equipment during shifts
- Follow restaurant priorities established by the General Manager
- Ensure proper execution of standards and procedures during shifts
- Manage shift to Q.S.C. level of 80% or better
- Take appropriate action when problems are anticipated or identified
- Follow procedures outlined in the operations manual
- Maintain safe working conditions in the restaurant
- Follow company policy for cash control
- Report accidents promptly and accurately
- Follow procedures for resolving Health Department inspection issues
- Manage shifts using guidelines within managing better shifts checklist
- Follow preventative maintenance program
- Train crew to maintain equipment
- Report maintenance problems and track progress
- Use consistent practices to manage performance problems with crew
- Maximize crew retention and reduce turnover
- Provide consistent crew communication and task assignments
- Foster teamwork and crew member motivation
- Comply with age requirement of at least 18 years
- Understand federal and state employment laws
- Train others in Wendy's systems and employee development programs
- Stand for extended periods
- Meet all subordinate position requirements
- Conduct physical inspections of the restaurant
