Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in hospitality or food service industry
- Proven leadership ability

Job Duties
- Oversees the general functioning of the dining room and bar during service periods
- Organizes work schedules to ensure appropriate employee coverage
- Estimates and orders food, liquors, wines, and supplies
- Interviews, selects, counsels, appraises performance, disciplines, and manages personnel actions
- Makes recommendations for hiring and terminations
- Responsible for departmental orientation of new employees
- Conducts walk throughs prior to opening to check maintenance and dining area setup
- Ensures facility cleanliness, organization, and preparedness
- Monitors food presentation, temperature, sanitary and quality standards, and portion control
- Assists servers and bus persons to ensure effective service and guest satisfaction
- Inspects establishment for compliance with occupational, health, and safety standards
- Completes administrative requirements timely
- Oversees execution of banquet functions if applicable
