Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in a leadership role required
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in family, fast-food, or casual dining preferred
  • Knowledge of state-mandated alcohol service age requirements for applicable restaurants
  • Ability to stand for entire shift and walk for long periods without rest
  • Ability to push, lift, carry and transfer up to 50 pounds
  • Manual dexterity including reaching, handling, and using controls
  • Ability to bend, stoop, taste, smell, verbally communicate effectively
  • Good vision including close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment
  • Ability to access all restaurant areas including selling floor, stock, and register area
  • Willingness to comply with updated CDC, local, and state safety and sanitation guidelines

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior leadership experience required
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in family, fast-food, or casual dining restaurant preferred
  • College or culinary schooling preferred
  • Excellent communication skills

Job Duties

  • Supervise daily restaurant operations in accordance with company policies and applicable laws
  • Recruit, interview, and train new employees
  • Assign and direct employee work, appraise performance, and reward or discipline as necessary
  • Coach and mentor team members to ensure job success and guest satisfaction
  • Create a warm and hospitable atmosphere that encourages employees to perform their best
  • Assist with executing corporate and local marketing programs to build sales
  • Drive sales building activities and suggestive selling
  • Maximize table turnover, sales per guest, and sales per hour
  • Meet and greet guests, investigate and resolve food quality and service issues
  • Maintain efficient operations with appropriate cost controls and profit management
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, local health and safety codes, and company safety policies
  • Enforce safe work behaviors to maintain a safe environment
  • Monitor food quality and cleanliness standards daily
  • Manage cash control, security procedures, review financial reports, and adjust scheduling accordingly
  • Control food costs through recipes, portion control, and inventory management
  • Manage labor costs by monitoring schedules and sales performance using labor tools
  • Perform other duties as assigned
