Job Requirements

  • Must be able to stand, walk, and perform physical activities for extended periods
  • ability to work in varying temperatures and environments
  • capable of climbing ladders, squatting, kneeling, reaching, grasping, twisting, bending, folding or unfolding
  • able to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 100 lbs occasionally
  • effective communication skills including talking and hearing
  • sufficient visual acuity

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum of 2 years of experience in the food and beverage industry, restaurant, or private club setting
  • strong communication abilities
  • demonstrated leadership skills
  • proficient in computer skills including spreadsheet software
  • experience handling confidential material
  • preferred certifications include Food Handlers Certificate, Alcohol Safety, STAR Service Certification, STAR Trainer Certification, TABC Certification, and CPR Certification
  • completion of food and beverage online training modules

Job Duties

  • Maintain invited service standards at high levels
  • provide exceptional food and beverage service to members and guests
  • ensure member and guest orders are accurately executed and delivered promptly
  • supervise service staff to ensure consistent and high-quality service execution
  • monitor reservation book for shift functions, special notes, and room setups
  • oversee room setups to match reservations and event specifications
  • complete opening and closing procedures for meal shifts
