Job Requirements

  • Any combination of education, training or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities
  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language
  • Supervisory and leadership experience in food and beverage operations preferred
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure
  • Proficient with computer systems and software relevant to budget and scheduling management

  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand English clearly to ascertain and document important information and provide guidance
  • Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to exercise judgment and implement control over staff performance
  • Ability to deal with problems requiring initiative and good judgment
  • Ability to remain calm and alert during emergency or busy situations
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work, meet deadlines and work with multiple interruptions
  • Mathematical skills necessary to analyze reports, prepare forecasts and budgets
  • Ability to access and input information using a moderately complex computer system
  • Social skills to deal with internal and external customers with patience, tact and diplomacy
  • Ability to listen and respond using a positive, clear speaking voice
  • Ability to maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance

Job Duties

  • Supervise food and beverage staff including training, selection, counseling and discipline
  • Ensure staff scheduling is adequate to provide superior service
  • Analyze reports and assist with forecasts and budgets
  • Ensure guest satisfaction
  • Manage all office procedures
