Job Duties

  • manage labor costs by evaluating labor needs against projected sales during shifts
  • review budget and profit and loss monthly
  • build sales by promoting customer satisfaction
  • monitor crew prep, production, and procedures execution
  • track waste levels using established procedures
  • communicate sales and profit problems to General Manager or District Manager
  • assist General Manager or District Manager in executing sales and profits plans
  • monitor food costs to eliminate waste and theft
  • monitor product quality through customer interaction and crew performance
  • take service times and determine efficiency
  • train crew for prompt customer response and courtesy
  • take corrective action to improve service times
  • solicit customer feedback for satisfaction
  • establish and communicate daily service goals
  • train crew to maintain restaurant cleanliness
  • follow restaurant cleaning plan
  • correct cleaning deficiencies
  • train crew in new products and position skills
  • assist General Manager in training new managers
  • cross-train crew for efficient coverage
  • recognize high-performing crew members to General Manager or District Manager
  • follow prep and production flowcharts
  • monitor inventory levels
  • complete physical inventory
  • intake weekly food deliveries
  • maintain security of cash, product and equipment
  • follow restaurant priorities and plans
  • enforce standards and procedures during shifts
  • manage shifts to Quality, Service, and Cleanliness levels of 80 percent or better
  • take appropriate action for anticipated or identified problems
  • follow operations manual procedures
  • maintain safe working conditions
  • adhere to company cash control policies
  • report accidents promptly
  • resolve Health Department operational procedures
  • manage shifts using approved checklists
  • perform administrative duties
  • write crew schedules
  • comply with company standards for crew benefits
  • follow Preventative Maintenance Program
  • train and monitor crew for equipment maintenance
