Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in a leadership role
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in family, fast-food, or casual dining restaurant preferred
  • Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends
  • Must comply with state alcohol serving age requirements if applicable
  • Physical ability to stand for entire shift and walk long periods
  • Ability to push, lift, carry, and transfer up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to reach, bend, stoop, and use hands effectively
  • Clear verbal communication ability
  • Adequate vision including color and depth perception
  • Access all restaurant areas freely
  • Commitment to following safety and sanitation protocols

Job Qualifications

  • Prior leadership experience required

  • College or culinary schooling preferred

Job Duties

  • Supervise restaurant operations in accordance with company policies and laws
  • Recruit, interview, and train employees
  • Assign and direct employee work
  • Appraise employee performance
  • Reward and discipline employees
  • Address complaints and resolve problems
  • Coach and mentor team members for success and guest satisfaction
  • Model professional behavior to create a welcoming atmosphere
  • Assist team members with duties as needed
  • Build store sales through timely execution of marketing programs
  • Champion sales activities and suggestive selling
  • Maximize table turnover, sales per guest, and sales per hour
  • Meet and greet guests
  • Investigate and resolve food quality and service issues
  • Maintain efficient restaurant operations and cost controls
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, health, and safety codes
  • Enforce safe work behaviors
  • Monitor activities to uphold food quality and cleanliness
  • Control cash, review financial reports, and manage schedules
  • Control food costs by following recipes and inventory management
  • Control labor costs by monitoring schedules and sales performance
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
