Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior leadership experience
  • minimum 2 years experience in family, fast-food, or casual dining restaurant preferred
  • availability to work various shifts and weekends
  • ability to stand for full shifts and walk long periods
  • ability to lift, push, carry, and transfer up to 50 pounds
  • ability to bend, stoop, and use hands for handling objects
  • ability to taste, smell, and verbally communicate
  • good vision including close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment
  • ability to access all restaurant areas including selling floor, stock, and register areas

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Supervise staff according to company policies and relevant laws
  • recruit, interview, and train employees
  • assign and direct work
  • appraise employee performance
  • reward and discipline staff
  • address complaints and resolve problems
  • coach and mentor team members for success and guest satisfaction
  • model professional behavior to create a hospitable atmosphere
  • assist team members with job duties as needed
  • implement corporate and local marketing programs to build sales
  • champion sales-building activities and suggestive selling
  • maximize table turnover, sales per guest, and sales per hour
  • meet and greet guests while resolving food quality and service issues
  • maintain efficient operations, cost controls, and profit management
  • ensure OSHA, health and safety codes, and company policies are enforced
  • promote safe work behaviors
  • monitor food quality and cleanliness standards
  • control daily operations including cash handling, financial reporting, and scheduling
  • manage food costs through recipe adherence, portion control, and inventory management
  • oversee labor costs using scheduling tools
  • perform other duties as assigned
