Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Valid driver's license required
  • Must have and maintain ServSafe certification
  • Ability to stand for prolonged periods
  • Capacity to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds, bending, kneeling, and stooping

Job Qualifications

  • College degree or equivalent experience in operations
  • Minimum 1 year of line operations experience in the restaurant industry
  • Ability to perform all restaurant operations positions/functions
  • Knowledge of Wendy's operating systems and procedures
  • Understanding of Wendy's policies related to job responsibilities
  • Familiarity with supervisory and interviewing practices
  • Experience with crew orientation and training programs
  • Ability to develop and train staff effectively

Job Duties

  • Manage labor costs by evaluating labor needs against projected sales
  • Review budget and profit and loss monthly
  • Promote customer satisfaction to build sales
  • Monitor crew prep, production, and procedure execution to manage costs
  • Track waste levels using established procedures
  • Communicate sales and profit issues to General Manager or District Manager
  • Assist in executing restaurant sales and profits plan
  • Monitor food costs to eliminate waste and theft
  • Process crew applications and set up interviews
  • Interview and hire crew
  • Monitor crew turnover rate and causes
  • Make recommendations on staffing to higher management
  • Monitor product quality and crew performance
  • Take service times and determine efficiency
  • Train crew in customer service and courtesy
  • Take corrective action to improve service times
  • Solicit customer feedback
  • Establish and communicate daily S.O.S. goals
  • Train crew to maintain restaurant cleanliness
  • Follow cleaning plans and correct deficiencies
  • Train crew in new products and orientation processes
  • Assist in training new managers
  • Cross-train crew
  • Recognize high-performing crewmembers
  • Follow prep and production flowcharts
  • Monitor inventory
  • Maintain security during shifts
  • Follow restaurant priorities
  • Manage shifts to Q.S.C. level of 80% or better
