Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior leadership experience required
  • minimum of two years experience in family, fast-food, or casual dining preferred
  • availability to work various shifts including weekends
  • physical ability to stand for entire shifts, walk long periods, lift and carry up to 50 pounds, reach, bend, stoop, taste, smell, verbally communicate, and have vision capabilities required
  • compliance with state alcohol service age requirements for applicable locations

Job Duties

  • Supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the company's policies and applicable laws
  • recruiting, interviewing, and training employees
  • assigning and directing work
  • appraising performance
  • rewarding and disciplining employees
  • addressing complaints and resolving problems
  • coach and mentor team members to ensure employee success and guest satisfaction
  • model professional behavior and foster a warm, friendly, hospitable atmosphere
  • assist team members with category job duties as needed
  • assist with building store sales through execution of corporate and local marketing programs
  • champion sales building activities and suggestive selling
  • maximize table turnover, sales per guest, and sales per hour
  • meet and greet guests
  • investigate and resolve food quality and service issues
  • maintain efficient operations, cost controls, and profit management
  • ensure compliance with OSHA, local health and safety codes, and company safety policies
  • enforce safe work behaviors
  • monitor daily activities to ensure food quality and cleanliness
  • control cash, review financial reports, and manage schedules
  • control food costs following recipes, portion control, and inventory management
  • monitor labor costs and schedules using the company's labor tool
  • perform other duties as assigned
