Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in a leadership role
  • minimum of 2 years experience in family, fast-food, or casual dining restaurant preferred
  • for alcohol-serving restaurants, meet state mandated age requirements
  • capable of standing for entire shifts and walking long periods
  • ability to push, lift, carry, and transfer up to 50 pounds
  • ability to reach, handle, and feel objects and controls
  • ability to bend and stoop
  • ability to taste and smell
  • verbal communication skills
  • vision capabilities including close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception and focus adjustment
  • ability to access all restaurant areas including sales floor, stock, and register
  • willingness to comply with updated safety and sanitation guidelines including CDC, local and state requirements

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior leadership experience required
  • minimum of 2 years experience in family, fast-food, or casual dining restaurants preferred
  • college or culinary schooling preferred

Job Duties

  • Supervise staff according to company policies and laws
  • recruit, interview, and train employees
  • assign and direct work
  • appraise performance
  • reward and discipline employees
  • address complaints and resolve problems
  • coach and mentor team members for job success and guest satisfaction
  • model professional behavior and create a hospitable atmosphere
  • assist team members with job duties as needed
  • build store sales through execution of marketing programs
  • champion sales building and suggestive selling
  • maximize table turnover, sales per guest, and sales per hour
  • meet and greet guests and resolve food quality and service issues
  • maintain efficient operations and appropriate cost controls
  • ensure compliance with OSHA, health, safety and company policies
  • enforce safe work behaviors
  • monitor quality food and cleanliness standards
  • control daily operations including cash control and financial reporting
  • manage food costs through recipe adherence and inventory management
  • control labor costs with effective scheduling
  • perform all other duties as assigned
