Job Duties
- Supervise staff according to company policies and legal standards
- recruit, interview, and train employees
- assign and direct work
- appraise performance
- reward and discipline employees
- address complaints and resolve problems
- coach and mentor team members for job success and guest satisfaction
- model professional behavior to create a warm and hospitable atmosphere
- occasionally assist team members with job duties
- assist with building store sales by executing marketing programs
- champion sales building and suggestive selling
- maximize table turnover, sales per guest, and sales per hour
- meet and greet guests and resolve food quality/service issues ensuring 100 percent guest satisfaction
- assist in maintaining efficient operations, cost controls, and profit management
- ensure OSHA, health, safety codes, and company policies are met
- enforce safe work behaviors
- monitor daily activities for food quality and cleanliness
- control day-to-day operations including cash control, reviewing financial reports and schedules
- control food costs through recipes, portion control, and inventory management
- control labor costs by monitoring schedules and sales performance
- perform other duties as assigned
