Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2-3 years of recent experience as a restaurant manager in high volume quick service restaurants or 4+ years of military service
  • proven experience in recruiting, training, and motivating food service team
  • strong leadership skills
  • positive track record of controlling costs
  • current Sanitation and B.A.S.S.E.T. alcohol service training a plus
  • must have worked at Portillo's for 1 year with an average of at least 20 hours over a 6-month period

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2-3 years of recent restaurant management experience in high-volume quick service restaurants or 4+ years of military service
  • proven experience in recruiting and motivating teams
  • strong leadership skills
  • positive record of cost control
  • current Sanitation and B.A.S.S.E.T. alcohol service training is a plus

Job Duties

  • Lead and motivate restaurant staff
  • recruit, train, and develop food service team members
  • effectively delegate tasks to ensure operational efficiency
  • control restaurant costs and manage budgets
  • ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • monitor guest satisfaction and resolve service issues
  • maintain high standards of quality food and service
