Job Requirements

  • Substantial experience managing high-volume restaurants and bars
  • proficiency in food planning and preparation, purchasing, sanitation, security, company policies, personnel management, recordkeeping, and report preparation
  • ability to carry out multi-step instructions
  • ability to manage quickly changing situations
  • strong mathematical computation skills for financial accuracy
  • completion of required training in food and alcohol service compliance
  • effective communication skills in English
  • high school diploma
  • knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
  • ServSafe certification

Job Qualifications

  • At least two years of management experience in high-volume, full-service restaurants
  • proficiency in food planning and preparation, purchasing, sanitation, security, personnel management, recordkeeping, and report preparation
  • ability to apply common-sense understanding for multi-step instructions
  • ability to handle changing situations with many variables
  • strong mathematical skills for financial transactions
  • successful completion of required training including food and alcohol service certifications
  • effective English communication skills
  • high school diploma
  • knowledge of MS Word and Excel
  • ServSafe certification

Job Duties

  • Manage shifts including decision making, scheduling, planning while upholding standards, product quality and cleanliness
  • ensure a safe working and guest environment to reduce the risk of injury and accidents
  • provide daily direction to employees regarding operational and procedural issues
  • ensure positive guest experience and respond to complaints to turn dissatisfied guests into return guests
  • effectively teach, motivate, coach, and discipline staff
  • maintain a fun, playful atmosphere free of intimidation, discrimination, harassment, poor attitude, and poor work performance
  • train and develop hourly employees with coaching and evaluation
  • hold kitchen staff accountable to cooking and sanitation standards
  • proactively recruit staff who meet brand image and costume standards
  • hire, supervise, counsel, and train hourly employees, documenting all events
  • maintain organized training schedules and programs
  • create weekly shift schedules for employees
  • handle discrimination or harassment issues according to company policy and legal guidelines
  • complete incident reports promptly
  • manage financial duties including invoices, reporting, and payroll
  • estimate food and beverage costs and work with corporate on provisioning and purchasing
  • supervise portion control and minimize waste
  • order food and schedule deliveries
  • maintain professional appearance and enforce food handling standards
  • ensure alcohol is served responsibly
  • dedicate to making Twin Peaks the best restaurant in its class
  • report to General Manager and Director of Operations
  • supervise all restaurant staff
