Job Requirements

  • High school diploma required
  • Substantial experience managing high-volume restaurants and/or bars
  • Proficient in food planning, preparation, purchasing, sanitation, security, company policies, personnel management, and recordkeeping
  • Strong problem-solving skills to handle multi-step instructions and changing situations
  • Ability to compute change, checkouts, and bank deposits accurately
  • Successful completion of required training including food and alcohol service certifications
  • Ability to effectively communicate in English
  • Availability for night and day shifts
  • Ability to stand for long periods, walk, reach, lift up to 40 pounds
  • Willingness to adhere to all company standards and applicable laws

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years management experience in a high-volume full-service restaurant
  • Prior experience managing full-service restaurant concepts
  • Exceptional people skills
  • Passionate work ethic
  • Ability to motivate and lead teams
  • Strong understanding of food and beverage quality standards
  • Proficient with office software such as MS Word and Excel
  • ServSafe certification required
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English
  • Spanish language skills are helpful

Job Duties

  • Manage shifts including decision making, scheduling, and planning while upholding standards and cleanliness
  • Ensure safe working and guest environment
  • Provide daily direction to employees on operational and procedural issues
  • Ensure positive guest experiences and respond to complaints
  • Teach, motivate, coach, and discipline staff
  • Maintain a fun and professional atmosphere free of discrimination and poor performance
  • Train and develop hourly employees with coaching and evaluations
  • Motivate front of house staff to provide excellent service
  • Hold kitchen staff accountable for cooking standards and sanitation
  • Recruit staff that meet brand image and costume standards
  • Hire, supervise, counsel, and train hourly employees according to company policy
  • Maintain organized and updated training schedules and materials
  • Create daily shift schedules weekly
  • Handle issues of discrimination and harassment in compliance with policies and laws
  • Complete accident and incident reports promptly
  • Ensure financial and payroll duties are completed accurately
  • Estimate food and beverage costs and control portions to minimize waste
  • Place orders and schedule delivery of supplies
  • Adhere to company standards in service levels and cost control
  • Enforce sanitary practices and ensure compliance with laws
  • Maintain professional restaurant image and cleanliness
  • Serve alcohol responsibly and according to law
  • Dedicate to making Twin Peaks the best restaurant of its class
