Job Duties

  • Manage labor costs by evaluating labor needs against projected sales
  • Review monthly budget and profit and loss statements
  • Build sales through customer satisfaction promotion
  • Monitor crew prep, production and procedure execution to control costs
  • Track waste levels according to established procedures
  • Communicate sales and profit issues to General Manager or District Manager
  • Assist in executing restaurant sales and profit plans
  • Monitor product quality through customer interaction and crew performance feedback
  • Take service times to assess efficiency and train crew to improve service
  • Encourage customer courtesy and feedback solicitation
  • Establish and communicate daily service goals
  • Train crew to maintain cleanliness and follow cleaning plans
  • Direct crew to address cleaning deficiencies
  • Train crew on new products and use orientation and training processes
  • Assist in training new managers
  • Cross-train crew for efficient shift coverage
  • Recognize high-performing team members
  • Enforce prep and production goals
  • Monitor inventory and product availability
  • Conduct physical inventory as required
  • Receive food deliveries
  • Maintain security of cash, products and equipment
  • Follow restaurant priorities established by General Manager
  • Ensure standards and procedures are followed during shifts
  • Take corrective actions for anticipated or identified issues
  • Adhere to operations manual and company policies
  • Maintain safe working conditions
  • Follow cash control policies
  • Report accidents promptly
  • Resolve health department operational issues
  • Manage shifts using established guidelines
  • Perform administrative duties as assigned
  • Write crew schedules to meet management objectives
  • Ensure compliance with company standards for benefits
  • Follow preventative maintenance program
  • Train crew to maintain equipment
