Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum 2 years prior leadership experience
  • prior experience in family, fast-food, or casual dining restaurant preferred
  • college or culinary schooling preferred
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to work flexible schedules including weekends
  • able to stand and walk for long periods
  • capable of lifting up to 50 pounds
  • able to use hands and handle tools
  • ability to bend and stoop
  • able to taste and smell
  • verbal communication skills
  • good vision including color and peripheral vision
  • ability to access all restaurant areas
  • must comply with state mandated age requirements for alcohol-serving environments

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company policies and applicable laws
  • recruiting, interviewing, and training employees
  • assigning and directing work
  • appraising performance
  • rewarding and disciplining employees
  • addressing complaints and resolving problems
  • coach and mentor team members to ensure employee success and guest satisfaction
  • model professional behavior creating a warm, friendly, and hospitable atmosphere
  • occasionally assist team members with job duties
  • assist with building store sales and marketing program execution
  • champion sales building activities and suggestive selling
  • maximize table turnover, sales per guest, and sales per hour
  • meet and greet guests and resolve food quality and service issues
  • assist in maintaining efficient operations, cost controls, and profit management
  • ensure OSHA, health and safety code compliance
  • enforce safe work behaviors
  • monitor daily activities to ensure quality food and cleanliness standards
  • control daily operations including cash control and security procedures
  • control food costs through recipes, portion control, and inventory management
  • control labor costs by monitoring schedules and performance
  • perform all other assigned duties
