Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Valid driver’s license
  • ServSafe certification
  • Ability to stand for prolonged periods
  • Ability to lift and carry 25 to 50 pounds
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment with noise and varying temperatures
  • Ability to multi-task and maintain composure
  • Availability to work a 50-hour workweek including all shifts and days
  • Ability to move and inspect all supplies
  • General knowledge of state and federal employment laws
  • Ability to train others in Wendy’s systems and employee development programs
  • Physical ability to inspect all restaurant areas
  • Strong customer orientation focus
  • Professionalism and discretion when resolving customer issues
  • Must report to work promptly and regularly

Job Qualifications

  • College degree or equivalent experience in operations
  • One year of line operations experience in the restaurant industry
  • Ability to perform all restaurant operations positions/functions
  • Knowledge of Wendy’s operating systems and procedures
  • Understanding of Wendy’s policies related to job responsibilities
  • Familiarity with supervisory and interviewing practices
  • Knowledge of crew orientation and training programs

Job Duties

  • Manage labor costs by evaluating labor needs against projected sales during the shift
  • Review monthly budget and P&L
  • Build sales by promoting customer satisfaction
  • Monitor crew prep, production, and procedures execution to manage costs
  • Track waste levels using established procedures
  • Communicate sales and profit problems to General Manager or District Manager
  • Assist management in executing sales and profits plan
  • Process crew applications and conduct interviews
  • Hire crew to ensure coverage
  • Monitor and recommend solutions for crew turnover
  • Monitor product quality by interacting with customers and managing crew performance
  • Take service times and improve efficiency
  • Train crew in customer courtesy and prompt response
  • Take corrective actions to improve service times
  • Establish and communicate daily service goals
  • Train crew to maintain restaurant cleanliness
  • Follow and oversee cleaning plans
  • Train crew on new products and procedures
  • Assist in training new managers
  • Cross-train crew for efficient coverage
  • Recognize high-performing crew members
  • Follow flowcharts for prep and production goals
  • Monitor inventory levels
  • Maintain security of cash, product, and equipment
  • Execute standards and procedures during shifts
  • Manage shift to QSC level of 80% or better
  • Take action to resolve anticipated problems
  • Follow operations manual procedures
  • Maintain safe working conditions
  • Adhere to cash control policies
  • Report accidents promptly
  • Resolve health inspection issues
  • Manage shifts effectively
  • Perform administrative duties as required
  • Write crew schedules
  • Comply with company standards for crew benefits
  • Follow Preventative Maintenance Program
  • Train and monitor equipment maintenance
  • Report and track maintenance issues
  • Manage crew performance issues
