Job Requirements
- Minimum three years restaurant management experience
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Experience managing to brand standards
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Able to collaborate effectively with other hotel employees and managers to ensure teamwork
- Able to resolve conflicts with guests, supervisors and employees
- Knowledge of local, state and federal liquor laws and regulations
- Strong floor presence with focus and energy
- Ability to multitask and work well under pressure
- Basic computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite
- Able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Behaves professionally in every guest interaction and maintains hospitality standards at all times
- Participates in developing and implementing business strategies aligned with Choice Hotels' mission and values
- Develops and adjusts strategies for Food & Beverage outlets to achieve revenue and profit goals
- Assists in marketing plan development by monitoring competitors regularly
- Implements special promotions and employee incentives
- Provides employees with up-to-date menu information and sales technique coaching
- Maximizes productivity through forecasting and scheduling adjustments
- Manages daily operation of assigned restaurant or outlet area
- Coordinates setup of restaurant outlets in line with hotel standards
- Confirms daily specials and menu changes with Executive Chef and Manager
- Coaches staff on service and presentation techniques
- Conducts regular inspections to ensure facilities meet hotel standards
- Leads staff meetings including daily pre-shift briefings
- Assists with quarterly inventories
- Recruits and selects qualified candidates and provides employee orientation and ongoing training
- Communicates performance expectations and provides continuous employee feedback
- Coaches and counsels employees to achieve performance goals
- Develops and implements employee engagement strategies across the department
- Directs all human resources facets including recruitment, training, compensation, recognition, and performance management
- Drives guest satisfaction by instilling service brand behaviors and teamwork
- Ensures compliance with guest satisfaction guarantee requirements and develops solutions from customer feedback
- Conducts other duties as required to maintain 100% guest satisfaction and genuine hospitality.
