Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior leadership experience
  • minimum of 2 years experience in a family, fast-food, or casual dining restaurant
  • college or culinary schooling preferred
  • ability to work various shifts including weekends
  • compliance with state alcohol service age requirements where applicable
  • physical ability to stand and walk for entire shifts
  • ability to lift, carry, and transfer up to 50 pounds
  • ability to use hands for tasks
  • ability to bend and stoop
  • ability to taste and smell
  • ability to verbally communicate
  • visual acuity including close and distance vision
  • ability to access all restaurant areas
  • commitment to follow safety and sanitation guidelines

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Supervise restaurant staff in accordance with company policies and laws
  • recruit, interview, and train employees
  • assign and direct work duties
  • appraise employee performance
  • reward and discipline staff appropriately
  • address complaints and resolve problems
  • coach and mentor team members to ensure job success and guest satisfaction
  • model professional behavior to create a warm, friendly atmosphere
  • occasionally assist staff with category job duties
  • execute corporate and local marketing programs to build store sales
  • promote sales building activities and suggestive selling
  • maximize table turnover, sales per guest, and sales per hour
  • greet guests and resolve food quality and service issues to ensure 100% guest satisfaction
  • maintain efficient operations, cost controls, and profit management
  • ensure compliance with OSHA, health, safety, and security policies
  • enforce safe work behaviors
  • monitor food quality and cleanliness standards
  • control cash procedures, review financial reports and schedules, and take corrective actions as needed
  • manage food costs through recipe adherence, portion control, and inventory management
  • monitor labor costs by adjusting schedules and sales performance
  • perform all other assigned duties
