Job Requirements

  • must have substantial experience managing high-volume restaurants and/or bars
  • ability to apply common-sense understanding to carry out multi-step instructions
  • ability to deal with quickly changing situations with many variables
  • ability to mathematically compute proper change perform employee checkouts and bank deposits
  • must complete required training in compliance with regulations such as food and alcohol service certifications
  • ability to effectively communicate in English
  • high school diploma required
  • knowledge of office software MS Word Excel
  • ServSafe certification required

Job Duties

  • manage shifts including decision making scheduling and planning while upholding standards product quality and cleanliness
  • ensure a safe working and guest environment to reduce risk of injury and accidents
  • provide daily direction to employees regarding operational and procedural issues
  • ensure positive guest experience and respond to complaints to turn dissatisfied guests into return guests
  • investigate and resolve complaints concerning food quality and service
  • teach motivate coach and discipline staff
  • maintain a playful atmosphere free of intimidation discrimination harassment and poor work performance
  • train and develop hourly employees providing and documenting coaching and evaluation
  • ensure steps of service are followed and motivate front of house staff to entertain and provide peak service
  • hold kitchen staff accountable for standards and sanitation
  • recruit staff who meet company image and costume standards
  • hire supervise counsel and train hourly employees ensuring proper documentation
  • maintain organized and updated training schedules programs and materials
  • create daily shift schedules for hourly employees weekly in accordance with company policy
  • handle issues of discrimination or harassment according to company policy and legal guidelines
  • complete accident and incident reports promptly
  • complete financial invoices reporting and payroll administrative duties on time and accurately
  • estimate food and beverage costs and coordinate purchasing and provisioning
  • supervise portion control and minimize waste
  • estimate food needs place orders with distributors and schedule deliveries
  • dress and act professionally setting a good example
  • correct standards that are not met
  • adhere to company standards service levels cost control and compliance with laws and policies
  • enforce sanitary practices and ensure compliance with operational standards
  • maintain consistent high-quality food preparation and service
