Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Ability to stand for long periods without a break
- Ability to meet the physical and operational demands of all restaurant positions
- General knowledge of state and federal employment laws
- Ability to quickly learn and train others in Wendy's systems and employee development programs
- Ability to work, concentrate, and perform duties accurately in a fast-paced environment with noise and temperature extremes
- Ability to use a headset during work
- Capable of frequent lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds
- Ability to reach, push, pull, bend, kneel and stoop
- Strong multitasking skills while maintaining composure
- Ability to take and give direction effectively
- Strong customer orientation and professional demeanor
- Flexibility to work up to 50 hours per week including all shifts and days
- Ability to report to work promptly and regularly
- Must maintain ServSafe certification
- Physical capacity to move and inspect all supplies in the restaurant
Job Qualifications
- College degree or equivalent experience in operations
- Minimum 1 year of line operations experience in the restaurant industry
- Ability to perform all restaurant operations positions and functions
- Knowledge of Wendy's operating systems and procedures
- Familiarity with Wendy's policies and procedures related to job responsibilities
- Understanding of supervisory and interviewing practices
- Experience with crew orientation and training programs
- ServSafe certification or willingness to obtain
- Valid driver’s license
Job Duties
- Manage labor costs by evaluating labor needs against projected sales during shifts
- Review monthly budget and profit and loss statements
- Promote customer satisfaction to build sales
- Monitor crew prep, production, and procedure execution
- Track waste levels and monitor crew position procedures
- Communicate sales and profit problems to General or District Manager
- Assist in executing restaurant sales and profits plan
- Monitor and control food costs to eliminate waste and theft
- Process crew applications and conduct interviews
- Hire crew members to ensure adequate coverage
- Monitor crew turnover and recommend solutions
- Monitor product quality and crew performance
- Train crew in customer service and product knowledge
- Take corrective actions to improve service times
- Maintain restaurant cleanliness and direct crew to address deficiencies
- Train and cross-train crew members
- Follow flowcharts to meet prep and production goals
- Monitor inventory levels and maintain security
- Follow General Manager's restaurant priorities
- Ensure execution of standards and procedures
- Manage shift quality, service, and cleanliness levels
- Take corrective action for anticipated or identified problems
- Comply with operational policies and safety standards
- Perform administrative duties as needed
- Create crew schedule
- Comply with company benefits standards
- Follow Preventative Maintenance Program
- Report and track maintenance issues
- Manage performance problems and employee relations
- Conduct crew performance reviews on time
- Foster teamwork and crew motivation
- Mentor crew interested in leadership roles
