Job Requirements
- high school diploma required
- minimum 2 years management experience in high volume full service restaurants
- ServSafe certification required
- ability to effectively communicate in English
- ability to apply common sense understanding to multi step instructions
- must have substantial experience managing high volume restaurants or bars
- proficient in restaurant operations including food planning preparation purchasing sanitation security personnel management recordkeeping and reporting
- ability to handle changing situations with many variables
- ability to perform accurate mathematical computations
- successful completion of required training for food and alcohol service
- knowledge of office software MS Word Excel
- Spanish communication skills extremely helpful

Job Duties
- manage shifts including scheduling and planning while upholding standards food quality and cleanliness
- ensure a safe working and guest environment to reduce risk of injury and accidents
- provide daily direction to employees regarding operational and procedural issues
- ensure positive guest experience and respond to complaints
- investigate and resolve complaints concerning food quality and service
- teach motivate coach and discipline staff
- maintain a fun playful atmosphere free of intimidation harassment and poor performance
- train and develop hourly employees and document coaching and evaluations
- ensure Steps of Service are followed and motivate front of house staff to entertain
- hold kitchen staff accountable for cooking absolutes and sanitation
- recruit staff that meet brand image and costume standards
- hire supervise counsel and train hourly employees
- maintain training schedules and materials for new employees
- create daily shift schedules in accordance with company policy
- handle issues of discrimination or harassment in accordance with policy
- complete accident or incident reports promptly
- manage financial duties including invoices reporting and payroll
- estimate food and beverage costs and supervise portion control
- place orders and schedule deliveries
- dress and act professionally and uphold company standards
- enforce sanitary practices and compliance with laws and standards
- ensure consistent high quality food preparation and service
- maintain restaurant cleanliness and appearance standards
- ensure responsible alcohol service
