Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior leadership experience
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in family, fast-food, or casual dining restaurant
  • Compliance with state laws regarding alcohol service for managerial roles
  • Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to bend, stoop, and use hands for tasks
  • Ability to verbally communicate and have vision capabilities
  • Ability to access all restaurant areas
  • Availability to work varied shifts and weekends

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Supervise staff in accordance with company policies and laws
  • Recruit, interview, and train employees
  • Assign and direct work
  • Appraise employee performance
  • Reward and discipline employees
  • Address complaints and resolve problems
  • Coach and mentor team members to ensure success and guest satisfaction
  • Model professional behavior and create a hospitable atmosphere
  • Assist team members with job duties as needed
  • Build store sales by executing marketing programs
  • Champion sales building activities and suggestive selling
  • Maximize table turnover, sales per guest, and sales per hour
  • Meet and greet guests
  • Resolve food quality and service issues
  • Maintain efficient operations, cost controls, and profit management
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, health, and safety codes
  • Enforce safe work behaviors
  • Monitor food quality and cleanliness standards
  • Control cash procedures and review financial reports
  • Control food costs with recipe and portion control
  • Control labor costs using scheduling tools
  • Perform other duties as assigned
