Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • must possess valid driver's license

Job Qualifications

  • College degree or equivalent experience in operations
  • 1 year of line operations experience in the restaurant industry
  • ability to perform all restaurant operations positions and functions
  • knowledge of Wendy's operating systems and procedures
  • knowledge of Wendy's policies related to job responsibilities
  • understanding of supervisory practices
  • familiarity with interviewing practices
  • experience with crew orientation and training programs

Job Duties

  • Manage labor costs by evaluating labor needs versus projected sales
  • review monthly budget and profit and loss statements
  • promote customer satisfaction to build sales
  • monitor crew prep, production, and procedures to control costs
  • track waste levels using established procedures
  • communicate sales and profit problems to General Manager or District Manager
  • assist in executing restaurant sales and profits plans
  • process crew applications and arrange interviews
  • interview and hire crew to ensure adequate coverage
  • monitor crew turnover rate and make recommendations
  • monitor product quality and provide feedback to crew
  • take service time measurements and assess efficiency
  • train crew in customer courtesy and prompt response
  • take corrective actions to improve service times
  • solicit customer feedback
  • establish and communicate daily sales goals
  • train crew to maintain restaurant cleanliness
  • follow and enforce cleaning plans
  • direct crew to address cleaning deficiencies
  • train crew in new product knowledge
  • assist in training new managers
  • use Crew Orientation and Training process
  • cross-train crew for versatile shift coverage
  • recognize high-performing crew members
  • ensure crew meets prep and production goals
  • monitor inventory to ensure product availability
  • maintain security of cash, product, and equipment
  • follow restaurant priorities and plans
  • ensure execution of standards and procedures during shifts
  • manage shift to quality standards of 80% or better
  • take corrective action for anticipated problems
  • follow all operational procedures and safe working conditions
  • report accidents promptly
  • resolve health department inspection issues
  • perform administrative duties as required
  • create crew schedule to meet objectives
  • follow preventative maintenance program
  • monitor equipment maintenance
  • manage performance problems consistently
  • maximize crew retention
  • follow grievance process
