Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in leadership role
  • minimum of 2 years experience in family, fast-food, or casual dining restaurant preferred
  • availability to work flexible shifts including weekends
  • ability to meet physical demands of standing for entire shift, walking long periods, lifting up to 50 pounds, reaching, bending, stooping, tasting, smelling, verbal communication, and vision requirements
  • compliance with state alcohol serving age requirements where applicable

Job Duties

  • supervise staff in accordance with company policies and laws
  • recruit, interview, and train employees
  • assign and direct work
  • appraise performance
  • reward and discipline employees
  • address complaints and resolve problems
  • coach and mentor team members to ensure success and guest satisfaction
  • model professional behavior to create a warm, friendly, and hospitable atmosphere
  • assist team members with job duties as needed
  • help build store sales through execution of marketing programs
  • champion sales building activities and suggestive selling
  • maximize table turnover, sales per guest, and sales per hour
  • meet and greet guests, investigate and resolve food quality and service issues
  • maintain efficient operations with cost and profit management
  • ensure compliance with OSHA, health and safety codes, and company policies
  • enforce safe work behaviors
  • monitor daily food quality and cleanliness standards
  • control day-to-day operations including cash control and financial reporting
  • manage food costs through recipe adherence, portion control, and inventory management
  • control labor costs using labor scheduling tools
  • perform all other assigned duties
