Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in a leadership role
  • Minimum of 2 years prior experience in family, fast-food, or casual dining restaurant strongly preferred
  • Ability to stand and walk for entire shifts
  • Ability to lift, carry, and transfer up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to use hands effectively

  • Ability to verbally communicate clearly

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the company's policies and applicable laws
  • Recruiting, interviewing, and training employees
  • Assigning and directing work
  • Appraising performance
  • Rewarding and disciplining employees
  • Addressing complaints and resolving problems
  • Coaching and mentoring team members to ensure success and guest satisfaction
  • Modeling professional behavior while creating a warm, friendly, and hospitable atmosphere
  • Occasionally assisting team members with category job duties as needed
  • Assisting with building store sales by ensuring execution of corporate and local marketing programs
  • Championing sales building activities and suggestive selling
  • Maximizing table turnover, sales per guest, and sales per hour
  • Meeting and greeting guests
  • Investigating and resolving food quality/service issues to achieve 100% guest satisfaction
  • Assisting in maintaining efficient operations, appropriate cost controls, and profit management
  • Ensuring OSHA, local health and safety codes, and company safety policies are met
  • Enforcing safe work behaviors to maintain a safe environment for guests and crew
  • Monitoring daily activities for quality food and cleanliness standards
  • Controlling day-to-day operations with cash control/security procedures, financial report reviews, and scheduling
  • Controlling food costs through recipes, portion control, and inventory management
  • Controlling labor costs by monitoring schedules and sales performance using labor scheduling tools
  • Performing all other duties as assigned
