Job Duties
- manage labor costs by evaluating labor needs against projected sales during shifts
- review monthly budget and profit and loss statements
- promote customer satisfaction to build sales
- monitor crew prep, production, and procedures to manage costs
- track waste levels and communicate sales and profit issues to General Manager or District Manager
- assist in executing restaurant sales and profit plans
- monitor food costs to eliminate waste and theft
- monitor product quality by engaging with customers and managing crew performance
- take service times and train crew in customer service and courtesy
- take corrective action to improve service efficiency
- solicit customer feedback and set daily service goals
- train crew to maintain cleanliness through shifts and enforce cleaning plans
- train crew on new products and cross-train for coverage
- assist General Manager in training new managers
- follow prep and production flowcharts and monitor inventory levels
- complete physical inventory and handle weekly food deliveries
- secure cash, product, and equipment
- ensure execution of standards and procedures during shifts
- maintain shift quality standards and take appropriate action when issues arise
- follow operations manual procedures
- maintain safe working conditions and follow cash control policies
- report accidents promptly
- resolve operational issues following Health Department guidelines
- perform administrative tasks as required
- create crew schedules to meet management objectives
- comply with crew benefits standards
- follow preventative maintenance programs and train crew to maintain equipment
