Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma required
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Associate Manager or Assistant Manager
  • Food Safety Manager certification required
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

Job Qualifications

  • Working toward AA or BA/BS degree preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years experience as Associate Manager or 3 years as Assistant Manager
  • 100% certification in all workstations required
  • Food Safety Manager certification required
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English both orally and in writing
  • Basic math skills

  • Ability to perform job duties of every position

Job Duties

  • Manages daily activities to achieve excellence in restaurant operational performance
  • Provides an exceptional experience for guests by ensuring proper training and accountability for excellent service and food quality
  • Reviews and improves guest experience while maintaining guest interaction
  • Responds promptly and professionally to guest concerns and complaints ensuring resolution
  • Ensures management team and crew operate all systems correctly
  • Maintains cleanliness, maintenance, and service standards consistent with Denny's brand
  • Uses training programs and individual development plans to enhance employee skills
  • Provides constructive coaching and feedback
  • Directs restaurant operations to consistently meet Denny's brand food and facility standards
  • Enforces sanitary practices and monitors security procedures
  • Maintains compliance with employment policies and government regulations
  • Proactively addresses and resolves operational issues involving District Manager or HR as needed
