Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior leadership experience required
  • Minimum two years experience in family, fast-food, or casual dining restaurant preferred
  • Compliance with state-mandated age requirements for alcohol service (if applicable)
  • Ability to stand for entire shifts and walk long periods
  • Ability to push, lift, carry, and transfer up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to reach, use hands for handling objects
  • Ability to bend, stoop
  • Ability to taste and smell
  • Ability to verbally communicate
  • Ability to use close, distance, peripheral, and color vision
  • Ability to freely access all areas of the restaurant
  • Willingness to work a variety of shifts including weekends

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Supervise staff in accordance with company policies and applicable laws
  • Recruit, interview, and train employees
  • Assign and direct work
  • Appraise performance
  • Reward and discipline employees
  • Address complaints and resolve problems
  • Coach and mentor team members to ensure success and guest satisfaction
  • Model professional behavior creating a warm, friendly and hospitable atmosphere
  • Occasionally assist team members with job duties as needed
  • Assist with building store sales through execution of marketing programs
  • Champion sales building activities and suggestive selling
  • Maximize table turnover, sales per guest, and sales per hour
  • Meet and greet guests, resolve food quality and service issues
  • Maintain efficient operations, cost controls, and profit management
  • Ensure OSHA, local health and safety codes, and company safety policies are met
  • Enforce safe work behaviors
  • Monitor daily activities for food quality and cleanliness
  • Control day-to-day operations including cash control, financial reviews and scheduling
  • Control food costs through recipe, portion control and inventory management
  • Control labor costs by monitoring schedules and sales performance
  • Perform all other assigned duties
