Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in restaurant management preferred
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Completion of restaurant manager training classes
  • ServSafe certification
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English
  • Valid driver's license and insurance
  • Ability to perform basic math
  • Ability to lift 10 to 65 pounds
  • Ability to stand and walk majority of the shift
  • Willingness to accept responsibility and work independently
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma G E D or equivalent required
  • Associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
  • Minimum of 1+ years experience as an associate manager or 2 years as a first assistant manager for internal promotion
  • Minimum of 3 years experience managing a service concept with full P&L responsibility for external recruits
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Completion of restaurant manager training classes required
  • ServSafe certification required
  • Ability to speak read and write effectively in English
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to perform and understand basic math concepts
  • Proven analytical skills
  • Good organization and planning skills
  • Self-starter who takes initiative and willingly accepts responsibility
  • Proficient with personal computers and related software applications
  • Must possess a valid driver's license insurance and use personal vehicle for bank deposits and business travel
  • Demonstrates integrity and ethical behavior
  • Ability to stand and walk 85 to 95 percent of the shift
  • Ability to lift and carry 10 to 65 pounds
  • Ability to operate restaurant equipment and drive a motor vehicle
  • Ability to operate a computer keyboard

Job Duties

  • Recruits selects trains develops and evaluates restaurant employees
  • Monitors staffing levels to ensure sufficient development and talent
  • Ensures systems for training employees on workstations are fully implemented and adhered to
  • Identifies and develops internal candidates for management and team leader positions
  • Manages daily activities to achieve excellence in restaurant operational performance
  • Provides exceptional guest service and ensures food quality and safety compliance
  • Reviews practices and modifies as needed to continuously improve guest experience
  • Responds to guest concerns and complaints in a timely and professional manner
  • Utilizes management information tools to analyze operational and financial performance
  • Implements action plans based on data analysis for improving sales and profitability
  • Monitors costs and adherence to budget and restaurant goals
  • Creates a positive restaurant environment that is employee friendly fun clean and safe
  • Motivates and inspires employees to achieve high performance
  • Treats all employees with respect and dignity and regularly recognizes and rewards employees
  • Complies with all labor laws and regulations
  • Performs other related duties as assigned
