Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality management or related field preferred
  • minimum 3 years of experience in a managerial role within the restaurant industry
  • strong understanding of payroll, budgeting, and cost control
  • excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • proficiency in restaurant management software

Job Duties

  • Interview and select staff
  • train, supervise, counsel, and discipline employees
  • institute ongoing training programs to maintain high quality service standards
  • maintain rapport with all departments and attend relevant meetings
  • monitor and ensure food quality and service standards are met
  • provide guidance for improvements and consistency adjustments
  • maintain profitability and control payroll and equipment costs
  • evaluate cost effectiveness of all operations
  • develop and implement cost saving and profit enhancing measures
  • create forecasts and revenue reports
  • write correspondence
