Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior leadership experience
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in family, fast-food, or casual dining restaurant preferred
  • Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends
  • Ability to stand for entire shifts and walk long periods
  • Ability to push, lift, carry, and transfer up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to use hands for handling objects and controls
  • Ability to bend and stoop
  • Ability to taste and smell
  • Ability to verbally communicate clearly
  • Visual acuity including close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment
  • Ability to access all restaurant areas including selling floor, stock area, and register area
  • Compliance with alcohol serving age requirements where applicable

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in a leadership role
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in family, fast-food, or casual dining restaurant preferred
  • College and/or culinary schooling preferred

Job Duties

  • Supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the company's policies and applicable laws
  • Recruiting, interviewing, and training employees
  • Assigning and directing work
  • Appraising performance
  • Rewarding and disciplining employees
  • Addressing complaints and resolving problems
  • Coaching and mentoring team members for job success and guest satisfaction
  • Modeling professional behavior while creating a warm, friendly, and hospitable atmosphere
  • Assisting with category job duties as needed
  • Assisting with building store sales
  • Ensuring timely execution of corporate and local marketing programs
  • Championing sales building activities and suggestive selling
  • Maximizing table turnover, sales per guest, and sales per hour
  • Meeting and greeting guests
  • Investigating and resolving food quality and service issues
  • Assisting in maintaining efficient operations, cost controls, and profit management
  • Ensuring OSHA, health and safety codes, and company safety policies are met
  • Enforcing safe work behaviors
  • Monitoring daily activities for food quality and cleanliness
  • Controlling day-to-day operations including cash control and financial reports
  • Controlling food costs through recipe adherence, portion control, and inventory management
  • Controlling labor costs through monitoring schedules and sales performance
  • Performing all other duties as assigned
