Job Requirements
- Five plus years of hospitality related experience
- Three plus years of restaurant manager or leadership experience
- Current food handler's card and other certifications as required by federal state or local law
- Strong knowledge of food and beverage menu including ingredients preparation methods and presentation
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Comfortable using computers including Windows Microsoft Office Point of Sale System and Outlook Email
- High school diploma or GED
- Willingness to perform other duties as required to support the business
- Ability to lift or move approximately 50 pounds frequently
- Frequent bending stooping or kneeling
- Ability to stand for the duration of the shift
- Ability to operate equipment such as hand carts blenders knives slicers wine keys and other tools listed in training manual
- Scheduled shifts determined by business needs
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Strong knowledge of food and beverage menu including ingredients preparation methods and presentation
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate operational information effectively
- Proven track record of increasing experience and responsibility in hospitality
- Comfortable using computer systems including Windows Microsoft Office Point of Sale System and Outlook Email
- Current food handler's card and other required certifications as per federal state or local law
Job Duties
- Create a relaxed destination by developing and streamlining restaurant processes in partnership with the Restaurant General Manager ensuring consistent execution of company policies and procedures
- Set the course by hiring and mentoring the best and brightest assisting employees with career development strategies to understand Tommy Bahama values and commitments
- Build the perfect oasis by implementing strategies and facilitating learning and training programs that create an environment for successful sales promotion service success and career growth
- Support the crew by assisting employees with career development strategies to improve retention and build bench strength
- Be proactive in marketing by seeking opportunities within the community and partnering with Retail to leverage the Retail/Restaurant relationship during marketing and sales events
