Job Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of management experience in hospitality or similar industry
- bachelor’s degree in hospitality, restaurant, or culinary management preferred
- excellent interpersonal communication skills
- strong problem-solving skills

- food handler certification if applicable
- flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties
- Evaluate daily restaurant service performance
- coordinate timely food production
- participate in evaluation of food products and kitchen employee performance
- develop selection and pricing strategy for liquors and wines
- assist General Manager with annual financial objectives and budgeting
- execute and improve annual marketing plan
- focus on cost control for sales and payroll
- communicate with management and accounting staff
- provide training and development for staff
- conduct regular performance evaluations
- implement ongoing training programs
- maintain cleanliness of restaurant
- supervise non-supervisory service employees
- carry out supervisory responsibilities
- interview, hire, and train employees
- plan, assign, and direct work
- appraise performance
- reward and coach employees
- address complaints and resolve problems
