Job Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of management experience in hospitality or similar industry
  • bachelor’s degree in hospitality, restaurant, or culinary management preferred
  • excellent interpersonal communication skills
  • strong problem-solving skills
  • organizational ability
  • passion for creating personalized guest experiences
  • food handler certification if applicable
  • flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

  • Evaluate daily restaurant service performance
  • coordinate timely food production
  • participate in evaluation of food products and kitchen employee performance
  • develop selection and pricing strategy for liquors and wines
  • assist General Manager with annual financial objectives and budgeting
  • execute and improve annual marketing plan
  • focus on cost control for sales and payroll
  • communicate with management and accounting staff
  • provide training and development for staff
  • conduct regular performance evaluations
  • implement ongoing training programs
  • maintain cleanliness of restaurant
  • supervise non-supervisory service employees
  • carry out supervisory responsibilities
  • interview, hire, and train employees
  • plan, assign, and direct work
  • appraise performance
  • reward and coach employees
  • address complaints and resolve problems
