Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in a leadership role
  • Minimum 2 years experience in family, fast-food, or casual dining restaurant preferred
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts and weekends
  • Ability to stand for entire shift and walk for long periods without rest
  • Ability to push, lift, carry, and transfer up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to reach with hands and use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects
  • Ability to bend and stoop
  • Ability to taste and smell
  • Ability to verbally communicate effectively
  • Ability to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and adjust focus
  • Ability to freely access all restaurant areas including selling floor, stock area, and register area
  • Compliance with state-mandated age requirements for alcohol-serving restaurants

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior leadership experience required
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in family, fast-food, or casual dining restaurant strongly preferred
  • College or culinary schooling preferred

Job Duties

  • Supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the company's policies and applicable laws
  • Recruit, interview, and train employees
  • Assign and direct work
  • Appraise performance
  • Reward and discipline employees
  • Address complaints and resolve problems
  • Coach and mentor team members to ensure employee success and guest satisfaction
  • Model professional behavior while creating a warm, friendly, and hospitable atmosphere
  • Occasionally assist team members with category job duties as needed
  • Assist with building store sales by ensuring complete and timely execution of corporate and local marketing programs
  • Champion sales building activities and suggestive selling
  • Maximize table turnover, sales per guest, and sales per hour
  • Meet and greet guests
  • Investigate and resolve food quality/service issues ensuring 100% guest satisfaction
  • Assist in maintaining efficient operations, appropriate cost controls, and profit management
  • Ensure OSHA, local health and safety codes, and company safety and security policies are met
  • Enforce safe work behaviors to maintain a safe environment for guests and crew members
  • Monitor daily activities to ensure quality food and cleanliness standards
  • Control day-to-day operations including cash control/security procedures
  • Review financial reports and schedules and take appropriate actions
  • Control food costs by following recipes, portion control, and inventory management
  • Control labor costs through effective scheduling and sales performance monitoring
  • Perform all other duties as assigned
