Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3-5 years experience in QSR or full service concept
  • ServSafe certified
  • fluent in English
  • excellent communication skills
  • excellent organizational skills
  • ability to work under pressure
  • valid driver’s license and proof of vehicle insurance
  • ability to travel and drive to restaurant locations
  • physical ability to stand, sit, bend, reach, and lift

Job Qualifications

  • Spanish is a plus

Job Duties

  • Fully staff the store with quality people
  • recruit, hire, and retain all restaurant employees
  • ensure the entire team is certified according to training process
  • create a service-oriented culture
  • promote an environment of fun and teamwork
  • evaluate performance and recommend salary increases
  • recommend, approve, and administer disciplinary action
  • develop and grow team members and future managers
  • execute Del Taco standards and processes 100% of the time
  • maintain facility and customer areas
  • maintain all equipment to safety standards
  • deliver quality products to standards
  • adhere to cleaning schedules
  • ensure employees are in proper uniform
  • ensure consistent service experience
  • ensure POP and signage are correct
  • identify and communicate sales goals
  • ensure the right people are scheduled according to sales
  • increase customer count and check average
  • execute local store marketing opportunities
  • stay aware of local events and competition
  • execute speed and service standards
  • maintain staffing levels to sales
  • comply with labor laws
  • order and manage inventory to reduce waste and theft
  • ensure cash handling procedures are followed
  • perform cash audits and address issues
  • execute safety and health standards
  • manage service vendors efficiently
  • achieve controllable cost target
