Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • must complete restaurant manager training classes
  • must be ServSafe certified
  • high school diploma or GED equivalent
  • relevant management experience as specified
  • valid driver's license and insurance
  • physical ability to stand and walk 85-95% of shift
  • ability to lift and carry 10-65 lbs
  • ability to operate restaurant equipment and drive a motor vehicle
  • proficient with computer keyboard and related software
  • excellent communication skills in English
  • strong organizational and planning abilities
  • ability to motivate and manage a team
  • commitment to ethical behavior and integrity

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent required
  • associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
  • minimum of 1+ year experience as an associate manager or 2 years as a first assistant manager for internal promotions
  • minimum of 3 years experience managing a service concept with full P&L responsibility for external recruits
  • must be 100% certified in all workstations
  • must complete restaurant manager training classes
  • must be ServSafe certified
  • ability to speak, read, and write effectively in English
  • excellent interpersonal skills
  • ability to perform and understand basic math concepts
  • proven analytical skills
  • good organization and planning skills
  • self-starter with initiative
  • proficient in personal computers and related software applications
  • valid driver's license, insurance, and use of personal vehicle for work duties

Job Duties

  • Recruit, select, train, develop, and evaluate restaurant employees
  • monitor staffing levels to ensure sufficient development and talent
  • ensure systems for training employees on workstations are fully implemented and adhered to
  • identify and develop internal candidates for management and team leader positions
  • execute the Service Profit Chain and Brand Promise
  • create a fun, clean, safe, and employee-friendly environment
  • motivate and inspire employees to achieve high performance
  • treat employees with respect and dignity
  • recognize and reward employees regularly
  • ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations
  • manage daily activities to achieve excellence in restaurant operational performance
