Job Duties
- Supervise staff in accordance with company policies and applicable laws
- recruit, interview, and train employees
- assign and direct work
- appraise employee performance
- reward and discipline staff
- address complaints and resolve problems
- coach and mentor team members to ensure success and guest satisfaction
- model professional behavior creating a warm and hospitable atmosphere
- assist team members with job duties as needed
- execute corporate and local marketing programs to build sales
- champion sales building activities and suggestive selling
- maximize table turnover, sales per guest, and sales per hour
- greet guests and resolve food quality/service issues
- maintain efficient operations and cost controls
- ensure OSHA, health, and safety policy compliance
- enforce safe work behaviors
- monitor food quality and cleanliness standards daily
- control daily operations including cash handling and financial reviews
- manage food costs through recipe adherence, portion control, and inventory management
- monitor labor costs using company’s labor scheduling tools
- perform all other duties as assigned
