Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- High school diploma required
- Internal candidates working toward AA or BA/BS degree preferred
- External candidates with AA or BA/BS degree preferred
- Minimum 1+ years experience in management for internal candidates
- Minimum 3 years experience managing a service concept for external candidates
- 100% certification in all workstations
- Completion of restaurant manager training classes
- ServSafe certification
- Ability to speak, read, and write English effectively
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to perform basic math operations
- Analytical skills
- Organizational and planning skills
- Proficiency with personal computers and software
- Valid driver’s license and insurance
- Use of personal vehicle for business duties
- Ability to stand and walk 85%-95% of the shift
- Ability to lift 10-65 lbs

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma for internal promotion
- working toward AA or BA/BS degree preferred
- AA degree acceptable for external recruits
- BA/BS in business or related field preferred
- Minimum 1+ years experience as an associate manager or 2 years as a first assistant manager for internal promotion
- Minimum 3 years managing a service concept with P&L responsibility for external recruits
- Must complete restaurant manager training classes
- ServSafe certified
- Effective English communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Proven analytical and organizational skills
- Proficient knowledge of computer software

Job Duties
- Recruit, select, train, develop, and evaluate restaurant employees
- Monitor staffing levels to ensure sufficient development and talent
- Implement and enforce employee training systems on workstations
- Identify and develop internal candidates for management and team leader positions
- Ensure all facets of the Service Profit Chain and brand promise are executed
- Create an employee-friendly, fun, clean, and safe restaurant environment
- Motivate and inspire employees to achieve high performance
- Treat employees with respect and dignity
- Recognize and reward employees regularly
- Utilize Jack in the Box systems, processes, and tools effectively
- Comply with all state and federal labor laws and regulations
- Manage daily activities to achieve excellent operational performance
- Ensure delivery of excellent guest service and food quality
- Review and modify practices to improve guest experience continuously
- Maintain visibility and engage positively with guests
- Respond to guest concerns and complaints professionally and promptly
- Maintain restaurant cleanliness, maintenance, and brand image
