Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior leadership experience required
  • Minimum 2 years experience in family, fast-food, or casual dining restaurants preferred
  • For alcohol serving locations, compliance with state mandated age requirements
  • Ability to stand and walk for entire shift
  • Ability to push, lift, carry up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to bend, stoop, and reach
  • Ability to taste, smell, and verbally communicate
  • Ability to use close, distance, color, peripheral vision and adjust focus
  • Ability to access all restaurant areas including selling floor, stock, and register areas
  • Available to work flexible schedules including weekends

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Supervise restaurant staff in accordance with company policies and applicable laws
  • Recruit, interview, and train employees
  • Assign and direct work
  • Appraise employee performance
  • Reward and discipline employees
  • Address complaints and resolve problems
  • Coach and mentor team members to ensure success and guest satisfaction
  • Model professional behavior creating a warm and hospitable atmosphere
  • Assist team members with job duties as needed
  • Support store sales by executing corporate and local marketing programs
  • Champion sales building activities and suggestive selling
  • Maximize table turnover and sales per guest hour
  • Meet and greet guests, resolve food quality and service issues
  • Maintain efficient operations and cost controls
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, health, safety, and security policies
  • Enforce safe work behaviors
  • Monitor daily activities for quality food and cleanliness
  • Control day-to-day operations including cash control and financial reports
  • Manage food costs via portion control and inventory
  • Monitor labor costs through scheduling and sales performance
  • Perform all other assigned duties
