Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3 - 5 years experience in QSR industry/full service concept
- ServSafe certified
- fluent in English
- Spanish is a plus
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Job Duties
- Fully staff the store with quality people
- recruit, hire, and retain all restaurant employees
- ensure the entire team is certified according to the current training process at all times
- create a service oriented culture
- promote an environment of fun and teamwork
- evaluate performance and recommend salary increases
- recommend, approve, and administer disciplinary action, suspension, and/or termination
- develop and grow team members and future managers
- execute Del Taco standards and use our processes and systems 100 percent of the time
- maintain the facility and customer areas
- maintain all equipment to operational and safety standards
- deliver only quality products to Del Taco standards every time
- adhere to cleaning schedules and standards
- ensure employees are in proper uniform
- ensure a consistent service experience
- ensure POP and signage is present and in the approved location
- identify and communicate sales goals (daily, weekly, year over year)
- ensure the right people are in the right places according to projected/actual sales
- increase customer count and check average, and maximize capacity and customer value
- identify and execute local store marketing opportunities to attract new customers
- stay aware of local events
- understand the store's current trade area and competition
- execute speed (speed with a smile) and service standards
- maintain staffing levels to actual sales
- comply with labor laws
- accurately order and manage inventory to reduce waste and prevent theft
- ensure cash handling procedures and standards are in place and followed
- perform cash audits and address identified issues
- execute safety and health standards
- minimize R&M/Supplies and Services costs by managing service vendors efficiently
- achieve and communicate controllable cost target
- may perform other responsibilities as assigned
- responsibilities and duties may change when circumstances dictate (e.g., emergencies, changes in workload, rush jobs, or technical developments)
