Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 2 years of prior experience in family, fast-food, or casual dining restaurant preferred
  • Prior leadership experience
  • Availability to work varied shifts including weekends
  • Must be able to stand for entire shift and walk long periods without rest
  • Ability to push, lift, carry, and transfer up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to use hands for handling objects and tools
  • Ability to bend, stoop, taste, smell and verbally communicate effectively
  • Visual acuity including close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
  • Compliance with state mandated age requirements for alcohol service where applicable
  • Ability to access all restaurant areas including selling floor, stock, and register areas

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior leadership experience required
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in family, fast-food, or casual dining restaurant preferred
  • College or culinary schooling is a plus

Job Duties

  • Supervise restaurant staff in compliance with company policies and legal requirements
  • Recruit, interview, and train employees
  • Assign and direct daily work tasks
  • Appraise employee performance and administer rewards or discipline
  • Resolve employee complaints and workplace conflicts
  • Coach and mentor team members to ensure job success and guest satisfaction
  • Model professional behavior and create a warm, hospitable atmosphere
  • Assist team members with job duties as needed
  • Execute corporate and local marketing programs to build sales
  • Promote suggestive selling and maximize table turnover and sales
  • Greet guests and resolve food quality or service issues ensuring 100% guest satisfaction
  • Maintain efficient operations with cost controls and profit management
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, health, safety, and company security policies
  • Enforce safe work behaviors to maintain safety for guests and staff
  • Monitor food quality and cleanliness standards daily
  • Follow cash control and security procedures
  • Review financial reports and take appropriate operational actions
  • Control food costs through recipe adherence and inventory management
  • Control labor costs via scheduling and sales monitoring
  • Perform other duties as assigned
